Harrachov is a well-known ski resort that offers ideal conditions for winter sports. Two chairlifts will take you to the top of Čertova hora, where you can enjoy downhill tracks of various difficulties. Thanks to a modern artificial snowmaking system, the season is extended to five months. If you don't have your own equipment or are a beginner, local ski schools and rental shops will provide you with everything you need.

The city is also home to one of only five mammoth ski jumps in the world, making it an important venue for international ski jumping competitions. The first ski bridge was built in Harrachov back in 1920, and since then the town has been attracting fans of jumping disciplines.
