The town of Křtiny is located in the Moravian Karst in the South Moravian Region, 16 km northeast of the city of Brno and 10 km southeast of the city of Blansko.
Zámek Křtiny is a hotel, restaurant and, above all, a purpose-built facility of the Mendel University in Brno managed by the Masaryk Forest Křtiny School Forestry Enterprise.
